And now, after all these years, I can honestly say that I truly love my job. I started in the industry in 2003 as a receptionist, spending the next ten years learning everything I could and working as much as I was able to before finally going to hairdressing school. After working in two different salons and behind the chair for 4 years, I took the leap and opened my own place in 2017. Since then, I’ve continued to follow my curiosity and let my work evolve along with me. I specialize in dreadlocks and natural hair color, and my background in yoga and Reiki has become an important part of how I work. I love bringing a little intention and energy into my appointments and creating an environment where people can settle in, relax, and be themselves. Outside of the salon - i’m a homebody. I love spending my time with my husband and pets, in the space we’ve created for ourselves. im always trying to find new ways to create and find new ways to connect to the things i love. i think thats one of the reasons i’ve never been interested in doing hair the way everyone else does, i always needed more… After more than two decades in the industry, I still get excited about the work — the creativity, the transformation, and the people. I’ve had the privilege of watching clients move through so many seasons of their lives, and there’s something really special about being invited along for the ride.
